IRVING, Texas, February 3, 2025 – Caterpillar Inc. will showcase a wide range of equipment, technologies, power options, and services at bauma Munich from April 7-13, 2025, in Hall B6. The theme, “The Next 100 Years,” highlights Caterpillar’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Covering over 9,000 m², Caterpillar’s exhibit will feature 48 machines, including 17 new introductions or upgrades. These include enhancements to the battery electric line-up, expansions to the Next Generation lineup, and additions to the Demolition, Waste Handling, and Recycling portfolios.

“We are excited to be returning to bauma this April,” said Tony Fassino, Caterpillar Construction Industries group president. “What we will show will be a fitting tribute to our heritage while demonstrating our commitment to building a safer, smarter, and more sustainable world with our customers and dealers for the next 100 years. Alternative power sources, reduced carbon options, and integrated technologies are the future, and Caterpillar is ready to deliver this in collaboration with our global dealer network.”

Cat Performance Centre
The Cat Performance Centre will take centre-stage, showcasing the possibilities when power, machinery, technology, and autonomy work together. The display will focus on solutions designed to support customer success on jobsites—helping increase performance, streamline efficiencies, and achieve sustainability goals. Visitors can simulate how upgrading their fleet with Caterpillar’s latest machine technologies can lead to significant reductions in fuel consumption and associated GHG emissions.

The Centre will also feature the latest 301.9 Mini Hydraulic Excavator and 906 Compact Wheel Loader from the battery electric range, both available via select Cat® dealer rental fleets. Updates to the 320 and 950 GC prototypes will be on display alongside associated charging services. Attendees can explore an electrified jobsite simulation, demonstrating how Caterpillar’s electric ecosystem benefits real-world customers with actionable data insights and energy flow tracking.

Technology, Connectivity and Safety
Experts will showcase VisionLink®, an integrated Cat solution for equipment, operations, and safety management. The expanded Cat Detect Portfolio—including People Detection, Seatbelt Monitoring, Driver Safety System (DSS), and Collision Mitigation—will demonstrate how integrated technologies improve both safety and performance.

The full suite of Cat Grade offerings will be presented, including Cat Grade with 3D and Cat Payload for Excavators. Cat Command technology will also enable remote machine operation, with machines operating from remote sites across Europe, including the Caterpillar Demonstration and Learning Centre in Malaga.

Latest Equipment
Caterpillar will present three new Next Generation Compact Track Loaders with upgraded engine power, torque, lift and tilt breakout forces, operator comfort, and smart technology. A new D8 dozer—based on the Next Gen platform—features a high-end cab with a 15-degree angled seat and comes Cat Grade 3D-ready ex-factory, with optional Cat Command Remote Control.

Also debuting is the 140 AWD Next Generation Motor Grader, a 20-tonne prototype that merges two previous platforms into one for more feature, tech, and configuration options. The MH3032 Material Handler joins the scrap segment with a 15 m reach, Ease of Use functions, and Swing Assist features for safety and efficiency.

The new 330 UHD Ultra High Demolition Hydraulic Excavator includes a Stability Monitoring System and Cat Grade Control with 2D. The 340 VAB will feature a Variable Angle Boom for tough demolition tasks. Two M323 Next Generation Wheeled Excavators, tailored for rail use, will offer hydrostatic, friction, or hybrid transmission options.

The new prototype Cat 775 Off-Highway Truck and reintroduced 395 Front Shovel will be on display. The 775 offers a larger truck body volume, while the 395 includes a Cat C18B engine and extended service intervals.

Services and Support Solutions
“Caterpillar offers integrated aftermarket solutions to drive value, maximize uptime, reduce ownership costs and enhance operational efficiencies,” said Damien Giraud, Caterpillar SVP of Construction Industries Services Division. On display: Customer Value Agreements (CVAs), Parts.cat.com, SIS2GO, and ProductLink™, showcasing Caterpillar’s data-driven digital tools.

With a CVA, Caterpillar guarantees next-day maintenance and second-day parts availability. Missed part commitments may result in reimbursement. The program also ensures a technician will respond to unplanned repair needs within two days.

Cat Certified Rebuild Programs and Cat Certified Used Products will show how older machines can be rebuilt to like-new condition, helping customers cut costs and reduce environmental impact through reuse and less raw material consumption.

Engines and Jobsite Power
Caterpillar will display industrial engines compatible with 100% HVO fuel, including the new C13D and high-power C3.6 (106 kW). The exhibit will also feature a series electric drivetrain, a hydrogen engine testing display, and remanufactured C7.1 engines.

The outdoor display will include the XQP115 genset, EUV certified and HVO-compatible, and the XES60 battery energy storage solution (BESS) will be shown indoors. These systems enable clean plug-and-play energy deployment, hybrid power sources, and optimized fuel usage through automated load management—reducing GHG emissions and boosting jobsite efficiency.
