Telehandlers
What is a Telehandler?
A telehandler, also known as a teleporter, telescopic handler, or telehandler forklift, is a type of materials handling equipment that combines elements of a crane, forklift, and conveyor in one machine.
It features a telescoping boom that can extend and elevate various attachments, such as forks, buckets, or pallet forks, to reach high or difficult-to-access areas.
Telehandlers are typically used in construction, agriculture, and industrial settings for lifting and transporting heavy loads, placing materials, and accessing hard-to-reach areas. Telescopic handlers are versatile machines offering high mobility, stability, and lifting capacity, making them essential tools on many construction sites.
The boom of a telehandler can be fitted with different attachments to perform numerous tasks. Attachments such as a bucket, pallet forks, muck grabs, or winches can be used for multiple tasks, such as shovelling, lifting, and moving materials, or for pulling or lifting heavy loads.
Telehandlers’ versatility increases when switching between different attachments, making them valuable tools for multiple applications.
