LIV GOLF LEAGUE EVENT HEADS FOR JCB GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

JCB’s exclusive Golf & Country Club is set to host its most prestigious tour event in its short history with confirmation today that the LIV Golf League is heading for the venue next summer.

On July 26-28, 2024, the Staffordshire course will welcome many of the sport’s biggest stars for LIV Golf UK. The announcement is exciting news for The Club, which only opened its doors five years ago and has already played host to the Legends Tour and the Rose Ladies Series.

LIV Golf’s star-studded, international field set to grace the fairways of the JCB Golf & Country Club will include Bryson DeChambeau – captain of the 2023 LIV Golf Team Champions Crushers GC featuring the UK’s Paul Casey – LIV Golf 2023 Individual Champion Talor Gooch, 2023 PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka, 2022 Open Champion Cameron Smith, six-time major winner and World Golf Hall of Famer Phil Mickelson, two-time major winners Dustin Johnson, Bubba Watson and Martin Kaymer, and many more.

Majesticks GC, one of LIV Golf’s 12 teams, which features a trio of European legends in Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and Henrik Stenson, along with talented English pro Sam Horsfield, expect to draw strong attention from local crowds. Final rosters for the league’s teams will be announced prior to the season launch when teams will compete in the global 14-event schedule in pursuit of the 2024 Individual and Team Championships.

Having already hosted four professional tour events, this news in another great step towards putting the JCB Golf & Country Club firmly on the international golf map.”

For 2024, we’re thrilled to expand our reach in the UK with a new host venue in JCB Golf and Country Club, one of the top courses in the country.
